Recipe: Sage Pasta with Venchi Chocolate Caviar
Serves 6 to 8
1 pound
spaghetti or fettuccine
8 tablespoons butter, 1 stick
12 to 15 fresh sage leaves
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Freshly grated nutmeg
Red pepper flakes
Venchi Chocaviar
1. Prepare the pasta according to package
directions.
2. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a
saucepan over medium heat and cook until it turns dark
amber. Add the sage leaves and immediately remove the
pan from the heat.
3. Toss the pasta with the sage butter,
Parmesan cheese, and about a 1/4 cup of the pasta’s
cooking water.
4. Season to taste with nutmeg and red
pepper flakes.
5. Serve topped a generous sprinkling of
Venchi Chocaviar.
